This tabloid sensationalized story is going on, this tornado of stuff, and in the middle of it is this one man who’s getting his heart broken. But I always viewed him as the emotional center. PLATTSBURGH The Snake, today's installment of Escape at Dannemora, marks the fourth week that North Country viewers have been embedded in Director Ben Stiller's limited miniseries.

“He still claims that it all didn’t happen, to some extent.

“I don’t know that the real Lyle has the same opinion,” Lange admitted. “It gave him some dignity back, and it left her really wondering what has she done, and what has it cost her.” This moment of resistance was important for the character, though Lange acknowledged that it bends the truth. “On the day of, Ben was like, ‘What if he doesn’t say anything?'” Lange recalled.

In the script, Lange revealed, Lyle was meant to say yes, but in the final episode he stays silent. “We’ve seen him hear things, and ignore things, and defend her, and finally it all comes out,” Lange said of a scene where Lyle visits Tilly in prison after her sentencing, which changed significantly on the day of filming.įacing the prospect of years behind bars, Tilly asks Lyle “Are you gonna wait for me?” clearly taking for granted that he will say yes. “It’s really such a vicious, brutal thing to do to your child, and to your ex-partner. “It’s like stabbing someone in the heart,” she said. Though it should pale in comparison to the acts of physical brutality committed by Sweat and particularly Matt, the moment is incredibly hard to watch and was hard for Arquette to film. That early ’90s storyline finds Tilly cheating on her then-husband with Lyle (Eric Lange), then manipulating Lyle into taking a punch from her husband in order to ensure she gets sole custody of her son, and ordering the confused young boy to call Lyle “daddy” from now on. “One thing you learn about Tilly in that episode is that this isn’t the first time she has triangulated relationships, and cheated, and then found ways to excuse her own inappropriate behavior,” Arquette noted. Dora and the Lost City of Gold follows Dora, now a teenager, navigating both the wild jungle and the equally unwieldy world of high school after her parents send her away while they look for a lost Incan city made of gold. Dora is kidnapped, along with her cousin Diego and two of their friends, by criminals who need her expertise to find her parents and lead them all to the fabled lost city. For more concrete clues about Tilly’s motivations, Arquette suggested viewers look to the season’s penultimate episode, which flashed back to Tilly’s younger life while simultaneously chronicling the violent crimes that landed Matt and Sweat in jail.

After almost 20 years on the air, it's no wonder Dora the Explorer finally got picked for the live-action movie treatment. Director James Bobin and screenwriter Nicholas Stoller, who previously worked together on 2011's The Muppets, have reunited to bring Dora's story to the silver screen. Since then, the pair have spent many episodes going on new adventures and teaching an important lesson or two along the way. Young explorer Dora and her trusty simian companion Boots were first introduced in 2000 when Dora the Explorer debuted on Nickelodeon. This is the first time Dora's big adventures have been translated into a feature film, which means lots of characters from the cartoon have made their way into live-action in this new adaptation. The Dora and the Lost City of Gold cast has a number of well-known and some lesser-known actors and actresses, all of whom attempt to bring an adaptation of the hit Nickelodeon cartoon Dora the Explorer to life on the big screen.
